Thursday, February 24 at 11 AM -- Introduction to Ebooks and Ereaders

Ereaders (such as Sony's eReader, Nook, Kobo, and iPad) have become very popular. You can "check out" and download electronic books (e-books) from the OverDrive page on the Pasco County Library website using your library card, first to your PC/Mac, and then transfer them easily to your handheld ereader! We'll show you how!
Bring your ereader and laptop to the class (and any cables which came with the reader), or, just come to see what it's all about! (Please note: At this time, Amazon's Kindle ereader is proprietary and will not function with our OverDrive software.) Please register for this class by calling 352-567-3576, as space is limited!

Family Nutrition Program

Pasco County encourages residents to learn about good nutrition. The Pasco County Cooperative Extension, with the assistance of the Pasco County Library System, provides useful information about good nutrition through the Family Nutrition Program. Look for our display at Hugh Embry Branch Library.

For more information about the Family Nutrition Program, see the Pasco County Cooperative Extension's website.
