Wednesday, July 7 at 3:00 PM -- Teen/Tween Summer Reading Club: Waves of Thunder, Sound, & Fury!


Teens and tweens, come for a close-up view of (really loud!) percussion instruments used in orchestras  --- you'll get a chance to play some, too! Drums are percussion instruments, but there are dozens of others -- bells, timpani (kettledrums), vibes, djembe, tam-tams (gongs), crash cymbals, suspended cymbals, castanets, chimes, marimba, slapstick, tambourine, bouran...  Get ready for truly thunderous sound waves!

Who: Teens (grade 6-12) and Tweens (grade 4-7)
