Happy New Year from Hugh Embry Library!

Start off the new year on a high note at Hugh Embry Branch Library!
Just look at what's happening in January.
The Friends of Hugh Embry Book Bazaar has a new weekend!  Join us on the second full weekend of the month for great bargains on used books, videos, CD's and more.  Friday 1/14 and Saturday 1/15, 11:00 to 2:30.

Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore will be all the buzz at our Book Discussion Group.  Tuesday, January 18 at 2:00 PM.

Toy Story 3 will be the feature presentation at our Family Movie Matinee on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 PM.

Do you have a new eReader (Nook, Sony, PanDigital, Kobo, NextBook, etc)?  Learn how to download free e-books from the library.  Have an MP3 player?  Borrow free audiobooks from us.  We'll show you how on Thursday, January 27 at 11:00 AM.

Do you know a young patron with special needs?

We have a great collection of Adaptive Toys for patrons with special needs.  The toys, with their specially-designed switches, can be enjoyed by persons with varying abilities and disabilities.  Simply do a keyword search in our catalog for “Adaptive Toy” or see photos of these toys on the Adaptive Toy picture wall at our website.

Come to the library...where the only limit is your imagination.

Family Nutrition Program

Pasco County encourages residents to learn about good nutrition. The Pasco County Cooperative Extension, with the assistance of the Pasco County Library System, provides useful information about good nutrition through the Family Nutrition Program. Look for our display at Hugh Embry Branch Library.

For more information about the Family Nutrition Program, see the Pasco County Cooperative Extension's website.
